The Rapid Red family is completed with wheels dedicated to those who want to push themselves to discover new territories and new trails, with the fun of a little extra speed.

Reactivity, lightness and reliability are the key words of the new Fulcrum Rapid Red Carbon, a product we developed for gravel use (and for whatever gravel means to you), using the best technology from our top-of-the-range wheels.

Lightness and reactivity are guaranteed by the 700C carbon rim with an asymmetric “S-Shape” profile . This technology allows for a better balance between spoke tension.

The optimized balance also translates into maintaining high performance over time. Furthermore, the particular shape of the rim profile generates a 2.5% increase in lateral stiffness compared to a traditional U-profile.

For maximum performance with tubeless tires, the rims of the new Rapid Red Carbon are equipped with a non-drilled 2WF bridge – for tubeless .

The undrilled bridge is also finished in C-Lux Finish , a mirror finish that makes it easier to mount the tire.

The wheel assembly is finally completed with Mo-Mag technology , patented by Fulcrum, which involves placing the nipple in the rim hole using a magnet in a simple yet ingenious operation.

In terms of geometry, the rim features a 30mm high profile equipped with a “mini-hook” system that allows compatibility to be extended to a wider range of pressures. Fulcrum dimensional precision also guarantees greater safety against bead failure at low pressures, thanks to the larger available coverage support surface connected to the oversized 25mm internal channel .

And as per #fulcrumfast tradition, we also intervened on the look, adopting functional choices for both aesthetics and performance.
