THE HISTORY OF OLYMPIA CYCLES
It is 1893 and in Milan , near Porta Romana, Carlo Borghi founds Olympia. At the beginning it is not just bicycles, but also motorcycles, and then it is to cycling that Borghi dedicates his passion and energy. Wearing the Olympia jerseys, white with a black band, Enrico Mollo comes second in the Giro d'Italia (1940) and Pietro Chiappini wins the Milan-Turin race (1941).

In 1960 , the brand passed into the hands of the Fontana family, who moved production to the Veneto region. Today, Olympia carries over two centuries of cycling passion on its wheels and in its hearts. Much has changed since its inception, starting with the ultra-modern 4,400-square-meter factory in Piove di Sacco (Padua) , where the current business operates. But Borghi's legacy remains: passion, sporting presence (particularly in mountain biking with the award-winning Marzio Deho and the Olympia team), technology, and exquisite details.

Today, Olympia is an international brand, recognized for its design (Expobici Innovation Award 2013 and 2014 and various ADI Design Index mentions), appreciated for the high-tech nature of its frames and the ingenious, innovative solutions it offers to the public. The prestigious Frera and Scapin brands have joined the brand. Olympia values the past while looking to the future.
