The BICICLETTE BRAZZO shop is an official WILIER TRIESTINA dealer

Wilier Triestina was founded in 1906 under the name Wilier, thanks to the idea of Pietro Dal Molin, a Bassano merchant, to build his own bicycles. His "steel horse" forge arose as a small workshop on the banks of the Brenta River, in Bassano del Grappa, and his success grew in tandem with the ever-increasing demand for bicycles. For this reason, Dal Molin decided to set up a professional team led by Giordano Cottur, a native of Trieste, known for having succeeded none other than Gino Bartali in the Bassano-Monte Grappa amateur race. During the same period, in the wake of popular concern for the fate of Trieste, Dal Molin decided to associate the name of the Julian city with that of his company. Thus, in the autumn of 1945 , Wilier Triestina was born, characterized by the copper-red color of its bicycles, which would later become its authentic trademark. In the following seasons, the team's successes, confirmed by its excellent performances, saw its riders win several national competitions, culminating in victories in the Tour of Flanders and the Giro d'Italia in 1949 and 1950. Unfortunately, after the initial exciting phase of national reconstruction in the early 1950s, the economic miracle began. Cycling companies suffered the brunt of progress, which, in 1952, forced Wilier Triestina to close its doors and abandon its racing activities. The glorious history of this company and its "copper jewel" lives on today thanks to the Gastaldello brothers of Rossano Veneto , who purchased the Wilier Triestina brand in 1969 , once again supplying bicycles to dozens of professional and amateur teams in Italy and abroad. Over the last decade, particularly from 2008 to today—building on its international cycling successes and ever-increasing number of models—Wilier Triestina continues to grow and consolidate its presence on the international market, with double-digit percentage increases in terms of turnover and bicycles produced.
Mission
Anyone who owns a Wilier Triestina knows they haven't chosen just any bicycle; they know that the halberd symbol is part of the history of cycling , a history spanning over a century. Wilier Triestina was founded in 1906, and we have plenty of experience. Throughout this time, we've never stopped combining consolidated expertise with the inventiveness and originality everyone expects from us. Because we don't build bicycles, we create them. The development of a model begins with a sketch on a sheet of paper and ends, after countless tests, with the use of the most innovative materials and constantly evolving techniques. The Wilier Triestina style, the result of a refined balance between tradition and innovation, today also means safety and reliability at the highest levels. The victories of professionals equipped with Wilier Triestina are a testament to our success.
