USMA SLR is the new competition hardtail MTB that joins the URTA MAX SLR and URTA SLR in Wilier Triestina's high-end offroad offerings.

Lightweight, modern, simple, and easy to manage, both in terms of mechanical assistance and suspension settings; the USMA SLR was created to provide a specific response to riders who are clamoring for an off-road product for racing.

Extreme lightness
Lightweight is one of the two key features around which the project was developed. We know how much effort is put into climbing and how much superlight materials help in competitions and, in general, in saving watts.
The USMA SLR frame weighs only 850 grams, a decidedly interesting platform that will allow for the creation of super bikes.

Progressive geometries
USMA SLR has modern and advanced geometry, designed on a 100 mm travel fork.

Short wagon
The rear triangle, to make the bike agile and responsive, is very short, only 425 mm of wheelbase but with a wheel clearance that still allows the use of tyres up to 60 mm (2.4”).


Hus-mod carbon
The carbon used for the USMA SLR is the same as that found in our top-of-the-line road products: HUS-MOD carbon, a blend of the highest-quality fibers to which ultra-high-strength multidirectional fibers are added. To manage the stress generated by off-road use, the USMA SLR frame was designed with particular attention and care to the tube intersections, which have been reinforced. The tubes are also particularly rounded, the ideal solution for an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio.

Fluidity is speed
There's a saying that says "flow is fast." This is what the rider will experience on the USMA SLR, and if you had to find a single adjective to define the USMA SLR, it would be balanced: light and responsive on climbs, easy and fast on descents.

Integrated monocoque handlebar
Like its dual-suspension siblings, the URTA MAX SLR and URTA SLR, the USMA SLR can be equipped with an integrated monocoque carbon handlebar. This creates a solid assembly with the rest of the frame using dedicated spacers, increasing comfort and improving the cockpit's clean aesthetics. Cable routing: two simple holes on the head tube allow for the brake, gear, and dropper post cable routing, integrating the cables inside the frame.

Corners
Regarding the angles, we have a 75° seat tube that allows the rider to be in the correct position for constant power. Moving to the front, the steering angle is 67.75°. This value, combined with the 430 mm reach (for size M) and a larger BB drop, allow USMA SLR riders to be centered on the bike, with a low center of gravity. This configuration can make the difference on descents because the rider can rely on greater stability and a sense of security, necessary conditions for speed when the trail slopes downwards.
